The conference is a two day celebration of diversity, creativity, and the vibrance of LGBTQ+ music community.

This Saturday April 6th at 12pm, our very own Arbel Bedak will be leading a discussion about building community as an LGBTQ+ music creative and professional on the panel "Q The Community". He will be moderating with the following panelists:
Lachi (she/her): Global touring performer, charting recording artist and award-winning social entrepreneur, Lachi—born legally blind—uses her platform in music, storytelling & fashion to amplify identity pride & Disability Culture to mainstream discussion. She is the founder of the U.N.-recognized organization RAMPD (Recording Artists and Music Professionals w/Disabilities), which—through collaborations with firms like Netflix, SONY Pictures Ent, TIDAL and more—brings disability-inclusive programming to the industry and career opportunity to music professionals with disabilities, neurodivergence, and chronic and mental health conditions.
Jen Schwartz (they/them): Jen is the Senior Director of Creative Music Strategy for Paramount Global. They serve as the lead for Music Operations across all Paramount brands and is the PRO liaison overseeing cue sheets and reporting across Paramount Global. Their innovative ideas have helped to refine and streamline the cue sheet process from inception to delivery. With over 20 year of experience in the industry, their career began at MTV as a Music Supervisor for shows such as Made, My Super Sweet 16, Teen Cribs, Uncommon Sense, Girls Cruise and Kingin’ With Tyga.
Maria Gironas (they/them): Maria is the Founder of their own company – Cool Shit, Cool People – where they continue these missions by working on artist development, talent relations, and integrated marketing with clients like Good Party, Showcase, and more. In addition to their company Maria serves as an advisory member of multiple platforms in the creator space including ShowUp and Artist Verified. Outside of their work, they are currently the General Manager of Keychange U.S. – a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underrepresented gender creatives with training, mentoring, and network support. Most recently, Maria was the Global Chair of Diversity, Inclusion, & Community at Women In Music where they worked to create sustainable change for women in music at all stages of their careers.
Mal Blum (he/they): Mal is a critically acclaimed, multi-disciplinary artist and internationally touring performer, with 45 million streams on Spotify, two billboard charting albums, and original songs in projects for Netflix, Hulu, and more. They have long been recognized as a unique and influential voice in music due to their songwriting talent and ability to consistently incorporate authenticity, wit, story, humor and connection into their work. Much of their music career was built by directly engaging with their communities outside of traditional industry structures. They are transgender and use "they" or "he" pronouns. In their free time they like to watch too much reality television and try not to contemplate the void.
Rosie Howe (she/her): Coming from the indie music supervision space, Rosie Howe is currently working as a music executive on the original series team at Netflix. She is a member of the Guild of Music Supervisors and spends her free time providing helpful feedback and educational resources to musicians starting out through workshops, panels, and one-on-one sessions. She has been featured on Behind the Music podcast, panels and workshops for The Grammy Museum, Billboard, The Guild of Music Supervisors, and has contributed to the magazine-style blog Ms. In The Biz.
