Brad Oberhofer Scores Hulu Documentary ‘The Jewel Thief’

The Jewel Thief, a new documentary scored by Brad Oberhofer (he/him), will be premiering on Hulu this summer on July 13. Directed by Landon Van Soest and produced by Submarine Entertainment, this film tells the unbelievable yet true story of Gerald Blanchard, a notorious thrill-seeking thief who perpetrated several intercontinental heists that grew increasingly elaborate and extravagant, from robbing banks all the way to stealing a royal crown jewel. In this first-hand retelling two Winnipeg detectives enter the scene and hunt Blanchard down across the globe in a game of cat and mouse that becomes driven by deception, competition, and ultimately obsession.
