Caleb and Brian Chan Score New Nickelodeon Series “Fairly OddParents: A New Wish”

Canadian composer duo Caleb and Brian Chan (he/him) have scored the upcoming new Nickelodeon series Fairly OddParents: A New Wish. This is the latest reboot of the beloved franchise, featuring a newly updated hybrid animation style and a new protagonist, Hazel Wells, a 10-year-old girl played by Ashleigh Crystal Hairston. The godparents themselves have not changed: voice actors Daran Norris and Susanne Blakeslee will be reprising their roles as Cosmo and Wanda, who come out of from the brink of retirement to help young Hazel.

ScreenRant broke the exciting news and shared an exclusive clip featuring Caleb and Brian's score (see below). Caleb and Brian shared a quote about scoring the series:

It’s special to be a part of something that has had cultural significance for a couple of decades. The original Fairly OddParents was on TV all the time in our youth and to see it come back now that we have kids of our own is truly a generational gift. We worked with an amazing team of showrunners who were exceptionally imaginative and trusting, so despite the weight of expectation, it has been creatively freeing and incredibly enjoyable.
