Cindy O’Connor Scores New Hallmark Feature ‘Retreat To You’

Composer Cindy O’Connor (she/her) has scored the recent Hallmark feature Retreat To You, starring Emilie Ullerup and Peter Mooney. This rom-com follows Sean and Abbey, two best friends who had a falling out in high school but have the opportunity to rekindle their friendship once again at a wilderness retreat many years later.

Cindy’s music for Retreat To You is light yet sincere, as best exemplified by the guitar and piano that play important thematic instruments throughout the score. While the guitar might be able to strum along in carefree spirits, it can also accentuate the poignant and pensive moments that the piano calls forth.
