EmmoLei Sankofa Nominated for 2024 NAACP Image Award, ‘The Other Black Girl’
Congratulations to EmmoLei Sankofa (she/her) on her NAACP Image Awards® nomination for Outstanding Original Score for Film/TV for her score from The Other Black Girl! This is such well-deserved recognition for a fantastic score, and we're so proud of you! This is the first year the original score category has been introduced, and EmmoLei is in great company with fellow nominees Jongnic Bontemps, Kris Bowers, Branford Marsalis, and Laura Karpman. The NAACP Image Awards® will be broadcast live on BET and CBS on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 8pm.
We also congratulate Jessica Mikayla on her Outstanding Performance nomination for Project CC, which EmmoLei scored, as well as the whole Disney Launchpad team for their nomination for Outstanding Short Form Series!
