The Sundance Institute has announce their 2021 Film Music Intensive fellows, and among the six fellows is our very own composer/artist EmmoLei Sankofa! Among the fellows is also composer/artist Chanell Crichlow (aka Tubafresh), who is a talented member of the Spectra sync roster. The intensive, which took place in spring of 2021, saw the six talented composers scoring to picture as well as engaging in a series of presentations and discussions and working closely with experienced composer advisors like Laura Karpman, Kathryn Bostic, Blake Neely, Heather McIntosh, Mychael Danna, and more to develop their art and craft as film composers. The week-long intensive typically takes place at Skywalker Ranch in northern California, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s intensive took place virtually.

Congratulations to EmmoLei, Chanell, and all of the other talented fellows! We look forward to seeing and hearing everything that is ahead of you!
