Jackie Westfall Music Supervises Upcoming Docuseries “Simone Biles Rising”

Jackie Westfall (she/her) has music supervised the powerful 4-part Netflix docuseries Simone Biles Rising: Part 1, which chronicles Biles’ withdrawal from the 2020 Olympics to her highly anticipated return to the 2024 Paris Olympics. Narrated by Viola Davis and directed by Katie Walsh with executive producers Gotham Chopra, Ameeth Sankaran, Giselle Parets, and Janey Miller with Religion of Sports (McGregor Forever) in association with the Olympic Channel, the series offers a closer look at the mental health challenges she reckoned with during the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, how she chose to bow out instead of pushing herself to the brink, and what unfinished business she has coming back from it all.
