Spectra Creative Agency Celebrates Pride Month
Happy Pride Month! As a gay-owned and run company, Spectra Creative Agency is proud to be a certified LGBT Business Enterprise® through the NGLCC, a member of the LAGLCC, and a certified Minority-Owned Business through Free The Work. As always, Spectra strives to promote and champion diversity, and this month in particular we celebrate the diversity of gender and sexuality in and around our industry. We hope you will join us in taking the time to celebrate, protect, and fight for our LGBTQ+ family. Later this month, we will highlight and celebrate the work of our LGBTQ+-identifying clients, but to kick off the month, we'd like to introduce our fabulous (and very gay) Spectra team!
Arbel Bedak (he/him) is the owner and creative agent at Spectra Creative Agency, representing a diverse roster of composers and music supervisors and a catalog of music for licensing. He is a multi-faceted music creative who has worked across many aspects of music in media over the past decade, from creative sync to publishing to composer representation. A creative at heart, Arbel holds a Bachelor’s degree in composition from UC Davis and is passionate about helping composers at all stages develop their careers, taking a hands-on, collaborative approach to working with artists.
Larry Hong (he/him) is the assistant at Spectra Creative Agency and the creative force behind the agency's marketing. He is a Korean-American composer for film, television, and video games whose interest in both electronic and orchestral music stems from his scientific approach to thinking mixed with his classical training, finding what lies between the cerebral and emotional. He has assisted Michael Gatt (DC Super Hero Girls, Batman: The Long Halloween), as well as Wendy and Lisa (members of The Revolution and composers for TV shows such as Heroes, Nurse Jackie, and Shades of Blue.) Larry received a dual major in film scoring and electronic music production with a minor in video game scoring from the Berklee College of Music, as well as a Bachelor's degree in neuroscience from Brown University.
