Tangelene Bolton Scores Season 3 of Comedy Central’s ‘Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens’

Composer Tangelene Bolton (she/her) has scored the third season of the hilarious New York comedy Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens on Comedy Central, starring Awkwafina, BD Wong, Lori Tan Chinn, and Bowen Yang. Created by Awkwafina and Teresa Hsiao, the series pulls from Awkwafina’s own life growing up in Queens, touching on topics about identity, young adulthood, and success.

Tangelene has brought on Grammy Award-winning producer and engineer Hotae Alexander Jang to collaborate and create the season’s unique electronic and hip hop sound. She will be taking the mantle from Joe Wong and TOKiMONSTA, who have scored the first and second seasons of the show respectively.
