‘The Graduates’, Music Supervised by Taylor Rowley, Receives Theatrical Release

Music supervised by Taylor Rowley (she/her) and executive produced by Chloé Zhao and John Cho, ‘The Graduates’ has received a theatrical release date by The Future of Film is Female later this year. The indie distributor plans to release select independent films directed by women or nonbinary directors with a bespoke distribution plan for each film.

‘The Graduates’ is Hannah Peterson’s directorial debut and a coming of age drama in which Mina Sundwall plays a young woman as she prepares to graduate high school in the aftermath of a tragic event. Also starring in this film are John Cho, Alex Hibbert, Yasmeen Fletcher, Ewan Manley, Maria Dizzia, and Kelly O'Sullivan. It will begin screening at Metrograph in New York and be released in theaters across the U.S starting November 1st. The film premiered previously at the 2023 Tribeca Festival, winning best cinematography for D.P. Carolina Costa.
