Andy Forsberg Releases Must Be Gold’s Debut Album ‘Fake It’

Must Be Gold, the collaboration between Spectra composer Andy Forsberg (he/him) and singer/songwriter Hillary Reynolds, have released their debut EP Fake It. With Andy’s background in film scoring and Hillary’s lyrical prowess, the duo have created a truly unique musical and narrative experience.

Calling their work “An Album of Alternative Cinematic Music,” the two absolutely do not disappoint. Spacious synth-laden orchestral backings, warm electric guitars, and gossamer vocals blend effortlessly with indie, folk and country sensibilities to create a truly immersive and emotional listen. The EP dips into various musical genres while simultaneously feeling like a cohesive body of work and a great listen from start to finish.

“With the cinematic soundscape of a Spielberg movie score mixed with the emotionally intuitive stylings of The 1975, Must Be Gold make sure that their debut is nothing but gold.”
